Women's Strength

We understand the importance of actively maintaining strength for women. These sessions focus on improving posture, mobility and robust function, while reducing the restrictions often identified by women for participation in walking and running. Our sessions are challenging but not high intensity, and small groups allow us to carefully observe and support individual needs.

Like all Run Ready programs, our women’s strength training promotes improved balance, conditioning and movement for an active life. Whether you are running around the court, walking around the block or chasing after your loved ones, a strong, well-functioning body is essential.

But run groups for me only last about 4-6 weeks before I seem to pick up an injury, and that’s where strength sessions have become a necessary part of my running.
